Discover a key role at an exceptional brand new Children’s Home: Waking Night Staff.

If one of our home’s young person or child wakes up during the night, you’ll be there to check that everything’s alright. To do your best, you’ll need to build good relationships with our young people and be fully supported onsite by sleeping in staff, who will be on hand to assist if needed during the night. Through the night our Waking Night Staff keep administration up to date and the home clean and tidy.

Ideally, you’ll have experience in a similar role. However, we welcome applications from people with other backgrounds. With our specialist training and supportive team, you’ll soon be a skilled professional, as long as you’re calm in a crisis, resilient and committed to first-class care. If you’re a natural night owl, have a full UK driving licence, happy working flexible shifts and ready to work towards and achieve an Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England)(if you don’t have this or an equivalent already). We’d like to hear from you.

This is a brand new purpose built home and will accommodate up to 7 young people with complex and challenging needs (SEMH). For children and young people with complex, challenging needs, the level of care and education must go above and beyond. That’s what drives us, here at Witherslack Group.
