We are now looking for an Administrator for the Events department, working in Birmingham City Centre. This role is due to start as soon as possible on a 3 month basis with the possibility to extend for a good performer.
Your new role
As an Administrator in the Events department you will be working in our Birmingham City Centre offices. Your hours will be from Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm equating to 35 hours per week, great if you're looking for set hours to work around your daily routine. Your role will involve working in a busy office environment, meaning the ideal candidate will be comfortable working extensively at a computer most of the day dealing with general correspondence via email, taking calls, ensuring paperwork is recorded accurately via the database. On-the-job training will support you during your first week so that you can be fully able to commit to the role. You will be paid a competitive hourly rate at £9.47 (inclusive of holiday pay which will be paid into a separate fund)
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will come from an events or events management background with strong secretarial/administration experience. We are looking for somebody who is keen on achieving a company goal and working as part of a team. Knowledge of basic Word and Excel is essential for this role as you will at times need to replenish system information. Candidates of a reliable and efficient work ethic will be highly considered as this is a temporary vacancy which runs until June 2018, meaning you will be required to commit to the whole duration of the role with no holiday booked. You may find that it is beneficial to obtain a Full UK Drivers license for this role to allow easier access to location however bus routes can be found a short distance away.
