Year 4 Teacher required for a 'Good' school in Walsall from Easter 2018
Your new school
You will be working for a Ofsted rated 'Good', small one-form entry Primary School in Walsall. This school caters for children from 3-11 and prides itself on their strong relationships with the local community. The school encourage and rewards good behaviour and provide a supportive environment for both teachers and pupils.
Your new role
You will be responsible for teaching a class of 30 Year 4 students with the support of an excellent KS2 Teaching Assistant. This role is to start after Easter through till the end of the academic year however could become permanent for the right candidate at the end of the contract.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the position of Year 4 Teacher, it is essential that you have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and recent experience within a classroom setting, ideally within KS2. The desirable candidate with either be Recently Qualified Teacher or Experienced Teacher with excellent lesson planning and preparation and excellent classroom management, with an up-to-date KS2 Curriculum Knowledge. The school are looking for a teacher who can commit to the length of the assignment and invest in their pupils' learning.
