Business/IT Architect £70,000 - £90,000 Warwick
I am currently recruiting for a Business/IT Architect (functional, domain, solution) to join a growing team based in Warwick. The Business/IT Architect will develop a mid and long term architectural view on the business domains, processes, information/data and IT landscape including corresponding blueprints, roadmaps and interfaces, working within a global Solution Delivery team.
The Business/IT Architect will collaborate closely and in line with corporate Enterprise Architecture and IT Security and Compliance policies and guidelines, as part of the global architecture community. You will report regularly on business/IT domain architecture planning, execution and adherence towards corporate Enterprise Architecture, policies and guidelines. Design business/IT solutions for changes or innovations within the boundaries of landscape architecture by translating this architecture and monitor consistency with other systems and components. You will assess the implementation of architecture principles and the project start and end architecture in the design and/or realization of business applications and propose changes to improve the compliance to the project start architecture.
The Business/IT Architect will determine the effect of solution alternatives on IT costs and formulate advice. You will maintain and develop architecture knowledge of the embedded technical focus areas and formulate the definition and maintenance of the organization's application and IT architecture principles policies, rules and standards to support solution design and development. Support in developing and partly approve the technology vision, strategy, transition/target architecture and roadmaps to support the business and overall IT strategy. You will provide support in developing a view of overall investment across IT, including strategic program investment and ongoing infrastructure renewal, maintenance and upgrade projects providing guidance and direction around suitability, cost-effectiveness, performance, resilience, interoperability, operability, portability, scalability, flexibility and maintainability of new technology solutions.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the support of complex, varied and advanced application solutions end supporting systems in a multi-vendor environment. Experience in agile and traditional supply chain processes supported with practical knowledge of leading industry standards (e.g. SAFe, DevOps, SCRUM, IT4IT and ITIL), based on learning and continuous improvement (e.g. Lean) and supported with advanced tools.
