Purpose / Role:

Working in the Telesales Channel within the Enterprise Division. You will be responsible for building your own prospective pipeline of customers over the phone. The role is based at our Redditch office. Developing a wide understanding of the Utilitywise range of services in order to develop a consultancy style sale and become a trusted advisor for your clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Professionally represent the company at all timesProcure energy contracts for the businesses you are approaching in order to understand your clients potential requirementsOvercome objections from gatekeepers/Key decision makersApproaching businesses on a "cold calling" basis with the data that is providedDeveloping a consultative relationship with clients to provide best levels of service and develop treusted relationships with your customer baseGain an understanding of the business needs in order to generate your own customer pipeline using your knowledge of the market and supplier relations and appraoching them via the phoneUse the Utilitywise marketing library/database to present utility solutions to customers, understanding the range of solutions on a consultancy sell basisMonitor your customer base using the company CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systemAchieve target conversion rates and as a result monthly revenuesAccurately complete all customer admin and sales documentationEnsure all sales information is kept up to date for effective reportingTo adhere to the company’s compliance regulations. All sales are generated in line with our quality standardsAttend sales training, coaching and team meetings when necessaryEssential Experience:

A minimum of 6 months experience in salesExperience is dealing with objectionsExperience in working in a target and results driven environmentGood levels of written and verbal communicationDesireable Experience:

Experience in B2B SalesKnowledge of the energy industry is an advantage (extensive energy training offered)Experience in high value consultative selling would also be an advantage, but is not essentialAbility to calculate information and percentages to prepare reports for customersPersonal Qualities, Aptitudes and Skills:
