Position: Strategic Partnership Manager
Location: Based in Birmingham with Nationwide travel
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £40K max (OTE 50k)

About the role:

It's an exciting time to work for our client as they continue their substantial growth and this would be a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious account manager to join their existing sales team working with their Academic and NGO sectors that include the world’s largest NGO’s, Academic and educational institutions, delivering disaster relief, long term infrastructure, research and global thought leadership specialists e.g.: (Customers and prospects include): Oxfam; Save the Children; Wellcome Trust; Red Cross; Oxford & Cambridge University; Kings College London; University of Edinburgh; British Museum; University of the Arts London.

Reporting to the Strategic Partnership Director, this role is responsible for the development and management of a portfolio of accounts to achieve targets and help them provide innovative customer solutions to reduce their cost, improve their efficiency and support their growth.


- Work to structured account plans that set strategic performance objectives
- Develop collaborative working relationships to deliver high level account networks
- Work autonomously developing organic SOW growth by networking with procurement managers, departments and extensive account focus activity on (SOW)
- Produce accurate projections within the pipeline to meet targets and agreed budgets
- Manage customer relationships through the sales cycle with retention targets
- Maximise customer engagement with the our client Senior Management Team
- Ensure customer profiling is accurate and insightful
- Ensure that revenue conversion tracks correctly and work with the Account Executives and Implementation Teams to deliver a successful SOW implementation
- Manage and track your activity, recording all information in a CRM (Sales Force)
- You will produce account plans that will be reviewed quarterly and annual basis, manage forecast accuracy, and maintain your competitive knowledge and focus

About you:

- Commercially aware, with good numerical skills
- Proven experience in an account management or business travel environment
- UK driving license
- An understanding how to gauge customer requirements and problem statements
- You will be flexible with the travel for this role
