A strong maintenance team is vital for the performance of our Regional Distribution Centre, responsible for all of the equipment, machinery, fixtures, fittings and the general management of the facility. Championing health & safety and safe working practices, this team of dedicated professionals leads by example. In this multi-faceted role you will manage a team of operatives and engineers, ensuring equipment, machinery and working environments are well maintained.

What will you do?Managing a team of operatives and engineers within the Regional Distribution CentreManaging statutory and internal service schedules for equipmentConducting ongoing service schedules for Store MHE and FCMEnsuring all service records are maintainedEnsuring the RDC is in good working order, addressing issues or breakdowns efficiently and effectivelyManaging planned preventative maintenance schedulesControlling costs of parts and equipmentEnforcing company procedures and health and safety at all timesOn-site contractor managementControlling and developing working practices across the RDC in order to increase productivity and efficiency levelsAssisting the Maintenance Manager with management tasks and record keepingWhat will you need?Experience handling and maintaining mechanical equipment (Jungheinrich equipment beneficial)Possess either City & Guilds levels 1 & 2 or a proven experience in a large maintenance organisation or departmentCalm, proactive with a highly professional approachA confident decision maker with strong leadership abilitiesAble to inspire and motivateExceptionally organised with strong communication skillsA strong multi-tasker with the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlinesAn understanding of Legionella Control HSG 274Motivated and positive in all aspects of workAble to use their own initiativeFully flexible with regards to working
