We are looking for exceptional artists with retail supervisory experience, who exude passion about makeup artistry and the NARS brand, to join the teams at one of our Manchester counters.

Additional to supporting the management team in leading the retail team, you will also set strong examples of the following;

Job summary (Makeup Artist)

To sell the NARS brand through means of application and technical expertise. This role primarily services the retail customers. The main objective is to maximise sales and propel a reputation of high fashion and technical excellence.

Essential Job Duties
(Management positions involved additional responsibilities)

• Generate sales through makeup application
• Achieve sales goals, makeover goals and average unit sale goals per each event
• Epitomise NARS application standards by working events and setting the appropriate example
• Impart the “NARS Way” and know how to customers and staff alike
• Conveying NARS technique and service expectations by leading by example
• Attending to the needs of the customer in a highly sensitive and responsive manner
• Responding to and satisfying the requests of the account manager quickly, professionally and efficiently
• Developing and maintaining positive and productive ongoing relationships with client group
• Lending a sense of availability and accessibility to the client group at all times
• Inspire client group through teaching and development to generate and sustain excitement about the brand
• Attend special PR events and perform makeovers to promote NARS
• Adhere to company protocols and uphold image standards
• Participate in corporate marketing programs and follow the predetermined guidelines
• Present NARS in a positive light and promote at every opportunity
• Perpetuate a sense of goodwill and build a positive reputation for NARS
• Wear NARS products exclusively while representing the company

Additional Responsibilities

• Track and report sales on makeovers done
• Being present at counter for designated makeup artist/special events
• Planning schedules with account managers around promotional calendar


• Qualifications in makeup artistry preferred
• Clear examples of relevant experience
