Contract Type
Full Time
My client, a national support organisation with real scope for progression, is looking for a HR Administrator to strengthen their people services function.

Due to the urgency of the requirement, the role will initially start on a temporary basis. This will be reviewed later in the year in lieu of longer-term/permanent opportunities.

The job will be varied and ever-changing, and duties will include:

- Carrying out HR related tasks such as obtaining documents for employee files, carrying out DBS checks, organising and being present at Assessment Centres.

- Communicating with prospective employees accurately and professionally at all times

- Drawing up contracts and offers of employment following acceptance of roles

- Keeping a weekly vacancy tracker up to date with the status of jobs

- Carrying out activity relating to candidate attraction, ie researching opportunities to attend Recruitment Fairs and other events

- Updating candidates as to the status of roles they have applied for

- Monitoring internal colleague referral schemes to ensure payments have been made

Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you have worked in a HR or Recruitment Admin role already. Perhaps you have worked in an agency and want to get away from a sales environment, or you work for an internal team and want to step up the pace. The candidate we are looking for:

- Works as a HR or Recruitment Administrator

- Has minimal or no notice period (ideally 1 week or less) and can start work immediately

- Is familiar with the DBS/Right to Work checking process

- Has a steady CV with plausible reasons for leaving previous employment

- Is organised to a fault and is able to manage their own workload, even when priorities change

- Has excellent communication skills and is able to build relationships with a wide range of internal colleagues and potential applicants

- Is comfortable using generalist IT systems and willing to learn new ones

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: Equivalent of up to £24,000 per annum depending on skills

If you are interested and meet the above criteria please send your CV ASAP to (url removed) or for any questions, call the branch on (Apply online only).
