We are working with a leading shopping centre landlord who owns a number of prestigious shopping centres across the UK including 9 of the top 20! The organisation is looking to recruit a creative Marketing Coordinator one of their leading shopping centres in the West Midlands.

The shopping centre is currently undergoing a number of projects and developments including a complete refurbishment and a 70,000 sq. ft. leisure extension. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an exciting transformation that will allow you to grow and develop your skillset with such a leading business.

* Provide support to deliver annual marketing plans for the shopping centre to support key business objectives and implement the annual marketing calendar;
* Delivering and promoting high quality and safe shopping centre events for a range of audiences e.g. families, students, fashion-focused;
* Organising centre artwork from creative brief through to production and installation.

* Build close relationships with tenants and gather promotional information to build into the marketing strategy and assist driving footfall and sales;

* Ensure effective event management in line with Health & Safety guidelines, manage agency relationships and deliver clear communication to centre teams;
* Help the centre reach its annual gift card sales target through the promotion of key campaign periods, such as Valentines Day and Mothers Day;
* Offer a high level of customer service and efficiently deal with enquiries;


* You have marketing experience in Retail/ Leisure or you have brand marketing/ being part of service brand;
* You have a qualification in marketing/ similar business discipline or CIM qualification;
* Outgoing and innovative with a genuine enthusiasm for creating exciting marketing campaigns;
* Excellent interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication;
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver results under tight deadlines;
* Excellent written and oral skills: The Marketing Assistant will be called upon to write copy for the website and email communications, so you will need strong copywriting skills;
* Ability to maintain focus and performance during periods of high workloads
* Be proactive and use initiative to develop solutions.
