My client, being of the top construction and office fit-out companies in Birmingham are looking for an eager, confident and reliable new Office Manager of whom has a strong willingness to succeed and learn new skills, being able to adapt to a new office surroundings as well as being flexible and well presented!

The successful Office Manager MUST hold the following skills:

Excellent telephone manner &interpersonal communication
Ability to communicate in a calm and professional style
Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
Working under pressure and coping with challenging situations
As well as experience working in a similar role is preferred.

Office Manager, Job role including the following, though not subject to

Providing a professional and welcoming entrance to visitors,
Being first point of contact in the Company – dealing with all enquiries and phone calls
Playing a key part in monitoring the well-being of staff
Coordinating the booking of meeting rooms for staff and guests
Providing assistance with travel
Managing visitor access - meet, greet and direct visitors to the appropriate contacts
Providing administrative and clerical support as required
Managing the subcontractor database and updating when required
Managing Company policies and procedures
Processing letters and packages delivered to or collected from the office
Registering all arriving clients, following policies and procedures
Reporting and dealing with faults throughout the office
Maintaining the accreditation database and updating when needed
Managing suppliers when needed and ensuring printing facilities are working
Assisting directors with administrative duties as and when required
PA to Directors
Marketing and social media updates
Ensuring all guest amenities are replenished if/when necessary
Ensuring all procedures as described in the company handbook are adhered to
