The Company

Our Client is a leading and award winning principal contractor in the design & build commercial interiors & office fit out sectors of the construction industry. With offices Based in both the East Midlands & West Midlands they offer a full Design, Build and Management service to a long list of blue chip clients. They have a high level of repeat custom due to their exceptional levels of Production, Project Management and delivery.

Due to consistent growth, they are now seeking a talented, creative and senior individual for a Contracts Manager role to join the team based from their office in the East Midlands.

The Contracts Manager Role

As a Contracts Manager you will be able to manage multiple (2-4) projects each valued at up to £4m, working with any issues as they arise.

Key Duties:

Client liaison is key to this role, it is essential that the successful candidate can build, develop and maintain excellent relationships with key high worth clients to sustain the regular and consistent securing of repesat business.

Manage the client relationship from start to finish
Managing between 2-4 projects at any given time
Programming Contracts
Controlling all commercial aspects of each project from inception through to completion
Head up client meetings and associated issues
Put in place Health & Safety plans
Motivating and inspiring teams
Liaising on all levels to ensure effective communication is always maintained
Hand over projects on time and to budget and quality
Following all projects through all stages from start to hand over through to final accounts

Design & Build project experience is beneficial.

This is a key client facing role within the business.

Candidates will ideally have previously managed projects within the commercial interiors and / or office fit out sectors and have refurbishment experience. Candidates with general main contracting construction experience are also asked to apply.
