We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to join the team at Bells Court in Druids Heath.

Rated as good with the Care Quality Commission, Bells Court offers residential support to three vulnerable adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs.

Working 42 hours per week on a flexible shift system, which will include long days and at least one weekend per month, the successful Deputy Manager will assist the Registered Manager in the day to day running of the home. Offer support in the recruitment and selection of the staff team, manage the induction process and ensure that all the company policies, procedures and legal requirements are adhered to at all times. Participate in assessing and planning to meet the individual service user’s needs. Conduct audits to ensure that the home is exceeding the essential standards of quality and safety. Offer guidance and support to members of the staff team, conduct supervisions and chair staff and service user meetings when required. The post holder will also take part in the on-call rota.

Applicants will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or an equivalent qualification and hold or be working towards Leadership in Care Services Level 5 diploma or an equivalent qualification which is at least 50% complete. Excellent communication and leadership skills developed in a similar setting is essential as is extensive experience working with vulnerable adults with a learning disability, mental health illness and challenging behaviour.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior or Deputy Manager to utilise and develop their knowledge, skills and experience, whilst supporting Care Through The Millennium in developing our unique concept.

This position will require an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service disclosure (DBS) which will be funded by the applicant.
