This role is based in the Midlands so ideally we are looking for candidates living in Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Worcester, Telford, Stafford, Tamworth, Solihull, Redditch, Coventry, Cannock, Tamworth or other local areas. We will also consider people looking to relocate or commute from further afield including Northampton, London, Bristol, Nottingham, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Leeds, Manchester and all other areas of the UK.

This is an extremely rare and potentially career defining permanent job opportunity for an electrical engineer, design engineer or project engineer with strong AutoCAD design skills and experience designing and developing control panels for industrial applications.

Working for a world renowned manufacturer of industrial capital equipment, process systems and special purpose machinery, you will join the Technical Projects Division based in the Midlands office and play a vital role designing control panel and other electrical circuitry hardware for equipment used in the industrial manufacturing, power generation, water process, nuclear and oil/gas sectors across the globe.

Essentially you will be an electrical engineer with strong CAD abilities whilst also having knowledge and experience with control panel and industrial electrical circuitry design/development.

Any experience within oil/gas, power generation, industrial manufacturing, process engineering, special purpose machinery or capital equipment markets would be advantageous but we are open to a wide variety of backgrounds for this varied job role.

You will be an excellent user of AutoCAD / Autodesk and in a previous or current role be an Electrical Design Engineer, Project Engineer, CAD Engineer, Project Manager or similar skilled electrically biased professional.

Candidates with electrical qualifications are preferred.
