Great opportunity for a Support Analyst to join a leading supplier of IT solutions to the public sector. The role will be required to provide responsive and high quality 2nd Line product support to the customer base.

Job Title: Support Analyst

Location: Coleshill, Birmingham

Salary: GBP20,000 - GBP27,000


* As part of the support team, manage the outstanding list of customer support calls for products.
* To investigate and analyse faults reported, establishing all the required facts and information needed to progress the call. This includes being able to replicate defects within the appropriate environment.
* Develop knowledge and skills sets to confidently support products and solutions.
* Liaise with third parties for application faults in third party products for which we are providing primary support.
* Liaise with third parties on customer hardware issues.
* Develop customer relationships and occasionally attend customer sites when required.
* Assist with product and QA testing where required, during release phases.
* Assist customer implementations and UAT where chargeable work has been agreed or at request of your line manager.

The successful candidate will have proven software support experience of supporting XML, HTML and Web Services in a multi-product environment along with experience supporting either .Net web applications or Oracle Forms based applications.

Proven experience of utilising Help Desk based software to manage support calls through to resolution is required as well as working knowledge of a range of Microsoft Products including Word, Excel, and Power Point etc. it is also essential have knowledge of SQL either on a Microsoft SQL Server environment or an Oracle environment
