HR Manager / Generalist - Rolling contract

Ashley Kate HR are partnering with a manufacturing business to recruit for a HR Manager / Generalist to cover a rolling contract with the possibility of a permanent role. This is a standalone role within a manufacturing environment and you must have a proven background of HR within manufacturing.

You will be responsible for the maintenance of an effective HR function and be the central point of contact for all managers and employees. Reporting to the Director you will be managing all recruitment, Employee Relations. You will manage new starters and leavers and deliver induction training. You will be involved in projects such as shift changes/restructures and implementing new payroll and Time & attendance systems.

It is essential that you are adaptable as being the only HR person on site your day can change quickly and you will need to be comfortable not only with the operational piece but also the transactional side.

HR Manager - The Person

* Ideally have worked in a standalone role.
* A strong communicator with the ability to build productive working relationships
* Demonstrable ability to deliver HR solutions and pro-active initiatives that contribute to organisational goals
* Ability to work with people in all areas of the business
* Advanced level of MS office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
