Children's Registered Home Manager

Your new company
You will be part of a fantastic company which currently has three homes operating within the Staffordshire area and are looking to expand their provisions in the future.
The home you will be responsible for is a three bedded EBD provision for children aged between 8-16 years and is currently rated as GOOD with OFSTED. This home is very local to the schools for the young people and is near to the town centre and also a few minutes away from Cannock Chase with all its activities locally for the young people.
Your new role
You will be required to plan, manage and direct the staff, budgets, company resources, the property and the well-being of the children and young people resident in accordance with the Children Act 1989 - 2004 and the National Care Standards 2000.To be able to effectively manage the running of the home and ensuring that referrals are completed and young people are placed effectively within the home.
As a Registered Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home in accordance with the Children's Homes regulations 2015 and the guide to the Children's Homes 2015 including the quality standards.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to hold a minimum Level 5, Leadership and Management along with a Level 3 QCF Children & Young People (or equiv.). You will need to have previous experience in a registered management position with a proven track record of holding a good reputation and career history. You will also be required to have at least 2 years' experience in this position.
