Registered Home Manager required for a brand-new children's home/s within a well known service based in Shropshire
Salary: GBP28,767 - GBP35,908 dependent on experience & size of home - Plus incentives
Location: Shropshire
To have responsibility and also provide leadership & management of registered children's home/s; overseeing and ensuring the delivery of high quality therapeutic care to young people. Managing and developing staff teams and individuals, as well as contributing to the overall objectives of the wider organisation.
Job Role:

To apply a comprehensive understanding of the company's policies and procedures as an employee and all aspects of working practices.
To apply a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation (Children's Home Regulations 2015, Quality Standards 2015 and Towards a Stable Life, Brighter Future 2002) to all aspects of service delivery.
To develop the staff team's knowledge and understanding of safeguarding practices and processes; leading, co-ordinating and resolving safeguarding matters as required.
To respond quickly and appropriately to referrals in line with organisational requirements including matching processes, aspiring to full occupancy levels at all times.
To lead and co-ordinate the development, implementation and delivery of the young person's Quality of Life Plan across the integrated services; communicating and setting goals, supporting practice development and ensuring progress is monitored effectively.
To aspire at all times to a standard of excellence in all areas of working practice and expect the same of others, role modelling this standard to colleagues.
To apply a comprehensive understanding of the PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy) Model of Therapeutic Parenting to develop practice in the home.
