We're looking for a Registered Manager or Domiciliary Care Manager for a well-established care provider in the Telford area. You'll be overseeing the care provision and day to day running of the business, ensuring that CQC standards and contract compliance are met and leading the team to deliver a person centred care service. On offer is an attractive salary of GBP31,500The Registered Manager Role You'll be managing a Domiciliary Care Agency that provides care to vulnerable adults in their own homes. You'll ensure that the company's policies and processes are followed and that CQC and regulatory requirements are being met. As the Registered Manager you will;Manage and take responsibility for all aspects of business within a branch including care provision, staff and financial management.Effectively manage all branch office staff.Ensure that all staff deliver services that meet the needs of the service user as set out in their individual care plan and according to the local service specification.Disseminate reports and statistics to senior management team.Ensure office staff are working to CQC regulations and company policiesUndertake health and safety risk assessment in branch office and ensure all staff are working within health and safety guidelines.Work with head office staff to ensure payroll, invoicing and credit control functions operate as smoothly as possible, and support any disputes or queries with local authorities, service users or their representatives.Train staff in management and customer servicesAttend internal and external training to keep up to date with practice.Work with head office staff to ensure payroll, invoicing and credit control functions operate as smoothly as possible, and support any disputes or queries with local authorities, service users or their representatives.Deal with major complaintsEnsure customer satisfaction, undertaking quality assurance, analysing and recording findingsUndertake staff supervision and performance reviews.Investigate and undertake disciplinary of direct staff.Draw up and monitor development plans when required. The Successful CandidateYou'll be a Registered Manager / Branch Manager or Domiciliary Care Manager who has managed a domiciliary care service of at least 1000 hours of care per weekYou'll be a strong leader of staff, who leads by example and has a focus on delivering high quality care.You'll be self-motivated and able to work independently without direct supervision - you'll have support from head office and robust systems are in place but we're not looking for candidates who are progressing from a junior level, we need somebody that is experienced at this level and can stand on their own two feetYou'll be able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of Care Standards,You'll be qualified to NVQ level 4 / RMA or be working towards the QCF level 5.You'll need to be a driver with your own vehicle.Interested?
