A Sous Chef role is available at a four star hotel located in Worcestershire
The Head Chef of an award winning hotel is seeking to employ a Sous Chef who can look after the daily operation of the Brasserie restaurant and the functions. The hotel is a popular venue for weddings hosting in the region of 100 per year with events averaging 80 covers but up to 120 covers. The Brasserie is only open for dinner service offering customers a menu combining classic and contemporary dishes. As a result this role needs an experienced Sous Chef who can take on the responsibility of ensuring that these two outlets run smoothly whilst creating dishes to the high standards expected at this property and supervising the junior members of the team to do the same.
A Sous Chef who has a solid background working in AA Rosette accredited properties where you were heavily involved with the banqueting side of the operation is required to take on this position. It is important that you are a strong team leader with good kitchen management skills who can communicate well with the front of house management team.
