Job Title - Maintenance Engineer
Shifts - Monday to Friday (9:30am to 6pm)
Location - Tamworth
Salary - Up to £32,000 per year, plus overtime (paid at x1.5 hourly rate / OTE £35k)

Our client specialises in the manufacturer of bulk powdered products, primarily for the Construction Industry, as well as Rail and Civils market. Established for over 70 years, the business have grown by over £40 million in just the last ten years. With the business continuing to grow, their new purpose built site has the extra capacity to allow them to increase production volumes by another 50%.
With production running 24/5, the Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for all Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Work on plant equipment. All Maintenance tasks are scheduled by the CMS System and then sent to the Engineer's iPads in order of priority. The Maintenance Engineers would then work through each task in sequence. Tasks would be a mix of Breakdowns, PPMs and Project work.
60% of the work would be mechanical in nature, with any mechanical components changed like for like from Stores. Electrically the Maintenance Engineer would need to be able to fault find through with a multimeter against electrical drawings and then change the faulty component. As much as the plant is fully automated, there would be no need to access the PLC or SCADA software.
To be successful in your application you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications:
- Must have previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer.
- Must have a recognised Electrical or Mechanical Qualification.
- Ideally should have experience working in an automated environment (not essential).
