For our Client we are currently looking for a Sales Representative working within Surgical division. This role offers a wide range of possibilities working with the highly experienced and supportive specialist sales team to coordinate training for physicians, surgical theatre staff, hospital administration and sterilisation departments.

Location: Ideally, this candidate will be required to live within a close proximity to the defined territory (South East Midlands). This is a field-based sales role, therefore involves a significant amount of travel.

You will actively:

  • Maintain existing business as well as identify and develop new sales opportunities
  • Interact and develop strong relationships with a diverse group of Stakeholders in the NHS or private medical sector
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training for clinical staff in operating theatres within your key accounts
  • Report on your sales activities on a regular basis
  • Communicate essential features and benefits of products and their clinical application
  • Make observations of customer needs and liaise with sales colleagues to follow up on and introduce new or additional products and/or support

Our requirements:
  • Background within medical sales
  • Professional training in a medical environment preferred
  • Computer skills, MS Office
  • Presentation skills with modern presentation media
  • Workshop/demonstration skills/training skills
  • Good working knowledge of anatomy and physiology

Full product and sales training will be given, in addition to ongoing coaching and personal development. The company provides all new starters with a comprehensive induction and on-boarding programme, which will take place in UK head office and European training centre.
