A leading global Automotive supplier, employing in excess of 30,000 people worldwide are now seeking a Material Planner to issue schedules to suppliers and monitoring and expediting al materials. Preferably you will have operated within a high volume Automotive Tier One environment in a similar materials / purchasing remit, with excellent IT skills (MFG - Pro would be very advantageous.)

Salary: £ 28,000 - £ 30,000 p.a. + pension, life assurance and company benefits.
Suitable for: Logistics Planner, Logistics Analyst, Material Planner, Material Analyst.
Key accountabilities within the role will include procurement of materials in-line with production and sales requirements. You will also be responsible for developing suppliers and the supply chain, reducing costs and inventory levels as per company targets.
You will have operated and worked ideally within a high volume, fast paced manufacturing environment (preferably automotive tier one) and have a demonstrable proven track record of success within materials and / or purchasing. You will ideally possess excellent communication skills at all levels, both internally and externally, with past exposure of IATF 16949 / ISO9001 quality standards.
