Our client based in Bromsgrove is looking for an experience payroll clerk to manage a monthly payroll run for 360 members of staff.
-Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating and inputting data
-Computes employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits and taxes
-Answers staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance and time records
-Receives and coordinates requests for leave and other absences
-Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law
-Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
-Honours confidentiality of employee's pay records
-Completes payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review
-Determines organisations tax obligations by calculating national tax as well as national insurance contributions
-Performs the distribution of wages through direct transfers to employee's bank accounts
-All employees are expected to live our company values and operate within our policies and procedures.
-All employees have a responsibility to maintain health & safety of self and others within the performance of their duties in accordance with the company health & safety policies.
-All other duties as requested
