Business Development Manager
I am looking for an experienced sales person to join my client to grow the business and, in time, develop and grow a sales team. You will develop your own client portfolio too and so you will have an opportunity both to earn bonus and create something of a legacy for yourself too!! What's the Job? Home based - but the office is in the Warwick area if you wanted to go in there - you will be selling training courses and support line access to the construction sector. You will also manage 1 additional person too. Your customer base ranges from SME to large corporate operations. The offer to each prospective customer includes support in technical areas as well as HR, legal, and contractual guidance and training. It also includes product discounts and the such like too. You will be well supported by a marketing team to bring potential leads in - you will also attend trade events, networking meetings and training sessions too in order to develop your client base. All that leaves you to do is to convert and get your team to do likewise. What Experience Do I Need? You will need to have sales experience selling to the construction sector - an approach centred around 'how can I influence their business' rather than 'how much can I sell to them' You will ideally have experience managing a small team too. If you have a proven track record of success in a role that encompasses all this then I'd encourage you to apply.
