A private provider of education and residential care for children and young people with EBD are currently looking to recruit a Registered Manager for a home in a pretty village near Burton. The provider specialises in supporting and educating children and young people aged 11-18 years with complex needs and attachment disorders.

The purpose of this role:

  • ensure that the home meets the standards and expectations of its Statement of Purpose
  • safeguard and promote the welfare of adolescents and to ensure that the quality of care provided is consistent with legislation
  • establish and maintain a competent, motivated and confident staff team and to offer leadership, managerial direction, guidance and support to staff at all levels
  • ensure that the homes policies and procedures are adhered to and that resources are managed effectively
  • develop systems for the efficient administration of the home and to ensure that the fabric of the home, equipment, appliances and grounds are maintained to the highest order in accordance with Health and Safety requirements
  • be the responsible person in managing child protection concerns and complaints
  • liaise with Local Authorities, Health and other professionals to achieve best outcomes
  • actively promote the Home's equal opportunity and anti-discriminatory practice policies.
The successful candidate will have Level 5 Social Care Management qualification or equivalent, along with managerial experience of a Children's Residential Home. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manager interested in joining a leading care provider.
