About the job

Due to a major systems upgrade across the Company, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Systems Support Analyst to support the implementation and configuration of a new rationalised and integrated business operations platform. Reporting directly to the Business Solutions Manager, but working independently, you will act as a systems champion by scrutinising, understanding and administering existing business systems throughout the Company and supporting user migration to new solutions. This role involves a high level of liaison with internal customers so that user needs are readily identified and met. The role also encompasses the testing and troubleshooting of new/existing systems along with an element of admin support, to include data entry, updating logs and the creation of user documentation.

About the successful applicant

This role will involve some travel between sites, therefore a full driving licence is essential. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of IT, strong analytical skills and have the ability to manage and interpret large amounts of information proactively, offering solutions to potential issues before they occur. You will require an interest in identifying and understanding problems along with the tenacity and patience to resolve any issues collaboratively with users. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential. Previous experience in a Helpdesk/IT support role and an awareness of information security/data protection would be beneficial
