I am currently recruiting a HR Advisor for my International Client in Cannock on an initial 9-month basis. The purpose of the role will be to provide pro-active human resources advice to ensure the effective implementation of HR policies and processes. To deliver a timely and efficient HR service as required by the business and work in association with internal customers to meet their strategic objectives.

Duties and Accountabilities:

* Have the ability to work independently with managers to provide a high-level advice on all HR services and employee relations matters
* Key areas for HR services and advice/support include recruitment, organisational review, employee relations, redundancy, performance management
* Assist with policy development and undertake research to ensure HR policies, procedures and processes reflect best practice
* Monitor identified HR processes and procedures and identify areas for improvement
* Actively maintain a high level of internal communication with internal customers so that they have a full understanding and dedication to HR processes and policies.

* Assist in the development of plans to ensure that HR processes are effectively implemented and services delivered in line with objectives.

* Dedicatedly work with internal customers providing advice in relation to performance management, including whether that those being assessed have the required skills, knowledge and competencies to do the job and that the appropriate training and development plans are in place.

Skills and experience:

To be considered for the role you will have demonstrable experience gained from a unionised environment and will have demonstrable HR Advisory experience.

You will have up to date knowledge of Employment Law, strong influencing skills and strong analytical thinker. You will have strong relationship building skills at all levels
