We are currently working with a short stay school in Tamworth who are looking to appoint a passionate TA to start a role as soon as possible.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching assistant with a background in special needs to join a supportive team within a pupil referral unit.

The Headteacher is looking to appoint a motivated & confident TA who has experience of working within a similar school that being a PRU, SEMH or SEND School.

The school caters for children aged 11-17 who have been expelled from mainstream education and have highly challenging behaviours. All children have IEP's with SEMH & ASC being the main needs of the children, experience in these fields are essential.

Full training is given for the successful TA, with this role you will take on the role and responsibility of a permanently employed member of staff and will be expected to attend weekly meetings and daily briefings.

The Headteacher has expressed the need for resilience, confidence and empathy for this role and has a potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
