Our Worcester branch team has vacancies for well trained Care Assistants (HCA) with at least 3 months experience to work in a variety of care settings including nursing and care homes in Malvern, Evesham, Droitwich, Worcester and the surrounding areas. We are seeking individuals to fill permanent positions within our company - bringing the Newcross standard of care to local establishments. You could be working in a variety of homes local to your area; a willingness to travel between clients is essential.Caring Position You will be responsible for providing the highest level of care for our elderly clients. It is highly desirable that you have previous experience working with dementia / Alzheimers. You will champion the needs of those in your care, tailoring your approach to each individual and providing care in line with their unique care plan. It is essential that you are dedicated to promoting the well-being and quality of life of each individual you care for. This means recognising the capabilities of each person, championing their needs and seeing them as more than a care plan.It is essential that you are confident in your ability to work in a calm, reassuring manner, putting the service users at the centre of all you do. This could include a range of tasks and activities such as personal care, domestic tasks and general activities that allow that individual to live their life in the way they choose.
