Due to an exciting period of growth in our Shrewsbury branch, we are now recruiting compassionate and caring Support Workers to work with clients with additional needs in Oswestry and the surrounding areas. As a naturally compassionate person, you will play an essential part in delivering great quality, person-centred care to every individual you encounter. This means recognising the capabilities of the person, promoting their dignity at all times and seeing them as more than just a care plan.The RoleOur clients live with varying learning disabilities and/or autism, so we are seeking individuals with previous professional experience in a similar role. You will be confident in your ability to deliver personalised care with a mindful approach, placing the service user's well-being at the centre of all you do.It's desirable that you have at least an NVQ2 / SVQ2 level qualification in Health and Social Care, with epilepsy training also preferable (however training can be arranged).Unlike an agency, we focus on nurturing and rewarding great members of staff.
