Here at Travis Perkins plc, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our Managed Services Division as a Project Manager coveringNewham, Islington, Barking, Dagenham and Central London.
Within our Managed Services Team, we provide contract solutions for local authorities and the housing community. We offer a bespoke service to suit the needs of the customer and we are geared around bespoke contractual and operational solutions, fitting in with the network or branch facility they are supporting. In this role you will have total responsibility for the successful, mobilisation and ongoing operational management support of assigned Managed Services projects.
Agree all product prices with the client prior to the commencement date in accordance with the tender submission and with the approval/sign off of the Commercial Director. Complete price reviews regularly, and in accordance with any contractual agreement and approval/sign off of the Commercial Director, ensuring profitability is maintained at budget levels or above.
Ensure that the Company meets all of its contractual obligations during the lifetime of the project, increasing the likelihood of contract extension at the point of re-tender.
Support the implementation of all initiatives relating to continuous improvement, (e.g. IT integration, mobile working, product switching, service delivery, environmental, waste, etc), ensuring that a record of this is kept for re-tender purposes.
It would be great if you had
To be successful in this role you will be an excellent communicator, have the ability to relate to a broad spectrum of individuals. Customer focused, problem solver, good negotiator, sound commercial awareness, numerate and a good organiser. It would also be great if you have operated at Branch management level for at least 2 years, with knowledge in the social housing/council market.
