Parts Supply Analyst
The purpose of the Parts Supply Analyst is to progress Prototype purchase orders with suppliers to ensure that a robust delivery schedule is maintained for pre-production builds.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:·Progress orders by maintaining regular contact with the relevant suppliers, buyers and engineering·Ensure that parts are scheduled to maintain build timing and that any tooling is on time·Review with Material planning and logistics for parts listed on main tracker document·Use the parts trackers (Microsoft Excel) to log current delivery timing and status comments to enable accurate and up to date reporting for build·Assist with booking in and invoice queries·The post holder will undertake other duties as may be required to achieve the Company’s objectives, commensurate with the grading of the post.
Qualifications and Experience·Advanced excel skills·Some form of higher qualification HNC/HND·Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy, together with the ability to work accurately and efficiently, taking resourceful action during periods of considerable pressure.·Ability to communicate at all levels.·Methodical approach to problem solving·Enthusiastic, confident yet tactful person who understands tier 2 supply process and is sensitive to other business requirements from the suppliers
