Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is now required for a market leading manufacturer within the Metal products industry to work within their busy site in the West Midlands.

The ideal Maintenance Engineer for this exciting opportunity will have a strong background within a mechanical maintenance role where they have been involved in installing, maintaining and servicing large, heavy industrial equipment.

Joining this experienced team, you will be responsible for the Mechanical Maintenance of equipment including Cutting Machinery, Finishing Equipment and Draw Bench machines. To be successful in this position you will be expected to have a mechanical bias with experience of the following:

? Installing and maintaining large equipment

? Mechanical experince of fixing and maintaining, motors, gearboxes and pumps

? Solid understanding of Pneumatics and Hydraulics

? Good understanding of Health & Safety

? Previous experience within a similar heavy industry is highly advantageous though not essential

Mechanical Maintenance Engineers respond to machinery breakdowns as well as involvement in planned maintenance and project work to develop and upgrade the site. The successful candidate will be working within a small team of Engineers covering double days 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm rotating shift pattern.

In return the client is offering a salary package up to £23k which includes shift allowance plus 25 days holiday (+ 8 stats), paid overtime and pension scheme.

This role is based within West Midlands and commutable from within and around the following areas: Walsall, Wolverhampton, Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield and Cannock.
