We are a global business advisory organisation and we are currently recruiting for a Senior Paralegal to join us here to focus on the UK territory, with some exposure in Europe. Legal forms just one of numerous offerings that encompass areas like business coaching, training, HR consultancy, recruitment, group buying, fleet management and technical support.
The purpose of this role is to support the company and provide a comprehensive and high quality in-house legal service, covering a broad range of legal issues helping the businesses to ensure all activities are in line with legal requirements and risks are mitigated appropriately.

• Liaise with Heads of Departments to insure smooth running of contractual procedures across the business with regard to payment and variations
• Providing a comprehensive legal service to the business; assisting in reviewing, negotiating, and drafting commercial contracts, clearing amendments to terms, and assisting in providing guidance on compliance issues
• Assist the business in understanding and complying with commercial legal agreements and applicable legislation
• Performing research
• Responsible for hard copy and electronic archiving
• Producing and maintaining a contracts data
• Producing contract checklist and putting systems in place.
• Help manage the groups’ insurance portfolio
• Organizing the obtaining of the executed versions of documents needed for corporate governance and Company secretarial duties
• Organize reports and provide information for different projects, as per Corporate needs
• Supporting business teams negotiating and drafting supply-chain contracts
• Advising on the protection of intellectual property rights and protection of confidential information and data protection compliance
• Providing advice across the business on compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Keeping precedents and policies reviewed and up to date

Skills & Experience
• 3-4 years’ experience working in a similar role is essential
• Previous experience of working in a legal practice either as in a law firm or in an in-house legal function or similar
• Any knowledge of data protection, intellectual property, IT law or employment law would be a bonus
• Good computer literacy skills and a Good working knowledge of Windows based applications
• Responsive to a changeable and deadline driven environment

Law graduate (or completed GDL) or legal executive
