We have an immediate vacancy for a Mediacal Training Instructor.

Our clients training and development division offer a range of bespoke, endorsed and accredited courses to a diverse range of clients. Training Instructors will be covering training facilities in Hereford and will be required to be deployed internationally, often at short notice. The role will be to provide training and competence assessments to internal and external clients; there will be an occasional requirement to provide medical support services, often in remote and challenging environments.

Main duties for the role include the following:
 Delivery of theory and practical training sessions in accordance with Course Training Plans (CTP) and in accordance with the stipulated requirements of awarding bodies
 Design and review of bespoke CTP and Lesson Plans (LP) and awarding body requirements
 Performance of practical competency assessments in accordance with CTP and LP and awarding body requirements
 Invigilation of theoretical assessments in accordance with CTP, LP and awarding body requirements
 Conduct of training in accordance with Company policies
 Active management of Health and Safety during training
 Any other duties as required by management and within the competency of the post holder

The following qualifications/certification/experience is essential:
Experience; Technical and Soft skills:
 Eligible to work, or resident, in the UK
 Current passport with no restrictions on travel
 Suitable and relevant teaching qualification(s), ideally to level 3 adult education qualification
 Previous experience in training delivery
 Experience of working in remote, offshore or hostile environments
 HCPC Registered Paramedic with significant experience in one or more of: Rapid Response, Emergency Care Practitioner, OOHs Service OR;
 Registered Nurse (Adult), with at least 3 years post-graduation experience within one or more of: A&E, ICU, HDU, OOHs Service, ANP, Medical or Surgical Assessment Unit, OR;
 Royal Navy Medical Assistant (at Leading Hand or above), OR; Royal Marines Medical Assistant (at Corporal or above), OR; British Army Combat Medical Technician Class 1 (at Corporal or above), OR; Royal Air Force Medical Assistant (at Corporal or above), OR; Royal Fleet Auxiliary Service Medical Technician, OR; NATO Equivalent
Desirable qualities:
 QA Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (RQF)
 Excellent communicator
 Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
 Customer focused
 Strong team player
 Excellent written and verbal presentation and communications skills.
 Proven analysis and problem solving ability
 Ability to work independently and in small teams
