Role: Area Sales Manager
Location: East Midlands (extensive overseas travel)
Salary: £35-40K

My Client, a manufacturer of bespoke machinery are currently recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to assist in selling their wide range of products to a variety of clients around the globe.

My Client are a world renowned brand offering a range of unique products in a specialist marketplace. The role will predominantly involve working closely with client to fully understand their requirement in order to offer them the best solution.

 Planning and preparing exhibition budget sheets
 Organise and prepare exhibitions
 Maximise Sale opportunities at our exhibitions
 Ability to produce quotation for customers and meet project deadlines
 Securing orders from national and international accounts
 Manage and progress orders, from national and international accounts
 Contributing to team and own effort by accomplishing related results/KPI’s as needed
 Ability to manage face to face and over the phone potential sales leads
 Researching and contacting new sales leads
 Provide potential customers with technical advice about the machines specifications.

The successful Area Sales Manager will be well-motivated, confident and a proactive sales professional who can demonstrate the following;
 Excellent communication skills
 Strong team player and able to work on own initiative
 Able to prioritise own work load
 Work well under pressure
 A proven track record of negotiation and securing new business

This role will require extensive travel including to countries within the Middle East and Asia.
