Our Client is a rapidly growing speciality pharmaceutical company engaged in the development and commercialisation of prescription medicines for the treatment of unmet therapeutic needs in major markets. With more than 300 people employed by the Company, it is headquartered in Scotland with commercial operations throughout the rest of the UK and continental Europe and a US head office. They are the market leader in the therapy area of Osteoporosis. A significant and ongoing part of this success is the work of the Healthcare Partnership team to deliver value and outcomes to CCGs and Health Boards across the UK. They work in close partnership with key strategic customers to develop and add expertise to Bone Health throughout the UK.
The Healthcare Partnership Executive will be working with a forward thinking and ambitious team promoting pharmaceutical products at a strategic level.
Key responsibilities will include:
Relationship management with and influencing of NHS/CCG commissioners, public health leads, medicines management managers, CCG managers/leads, clinical leads and all other stakeholders that can have an impact on the Portfolio;
Engaging CCGs and Key opinion leaders in joint working initiatives and using complex health economics to support initiative;
Working to customers agendas to add and create value for the health economy locally
Developing a positive environment for the portfolio of products;
Ascertaining key influencers and decision makers in the NHS-wide customer base;
Liaising with the Regional Business Managers to streamline activities in region;
Liaising and aligning with Representatives to initiate and deliver projects;
Being the regional and national NHS expert.
Capitalise on business opportunities by adding value and providing solutions to customers
Provide medical information to healthcare professionals
Provide value through health economic tools
Achieve sales and activity targets
Apply marketing strategies and initiatives
Establish, maintain and develop strong relationships with Commissioners, Medicines Manager customers and local KOLs
Work closely with CCG leads to gain positive outcomes
The role is accompanied with an excellent package which includes a negotiable basic salary based on experience, pension, healthcare, bonus scheme and company car scheme.
Experience of working in a pharmaceutical healthcare development/market access type industry role
You’ll have experience in a strategic level commercial environment and within the pharmaceutical industry. You will be happy to be involved in a range of tasks as required, be ambitious, innovative and a strong team player
Driven to make a difference by working in partnership with CCGs and Health boards
Experience in a customer facing commercial environment within the pharmaceutical industry
Proven high achievement and consistent success
Ambitious, innovative and a strong team player
An extremely high level of understanding and knowledge about National and Local Health Systems and how they interact and a strong ability to articulate responsibilities and opportunities.
