Shift Maintenance Engineer (Multiskilled/ Manufacturing)

3 on 3 off days and nights rotating 6am to 6pm
£30,000 to £35,000 per annum + Progression into Lead Shift Engineer + Overtime + Management Training + PLCs and Robotics Training
Shift Engineer required for a well established manufacturer. This is a great opportunity to join a company truly investing in their staff with the opportunity to progress into a lead shift engineer.
The successful candidate will be a multiskilled engineer with a relevant qualification (City and Guilds Level 3, NVQ 3/ apprenticeship or equivalent). You will come from ANY manufacturing/ production background and have experience of hydraulics, pneumatics, 3 phase and PLC faultfinding. Any experience of robotics is highly beneficial.
Your role will be to focus on reactive and project based work across the site. The site is 90% automated after a recent £2 million investment into the production processes. This role has the opportunity to quickly turn into a lead shift engineer which will include management courses and an increase in salary.
The company have a long history in Stoke and have recently invested in the site and team with over £60,000 signed off this year for training alone. This year the training will be focussing more on the technical side including PLCs, robotics and hydraulics.
* 100% reactive maintenance.
