Mercury Hampton is exclusively retained on this strategic appointment. Our Client is global multi-million manufacturer of engineering components for applications throughout Oil & Gas, offshore, military, nuclear, aerospace & niche specialist industries.

As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for expanding my client’s brand and market presence globally, with around 25% to 40% dedicated to visiting international customers. This will include clients throughout the UK, Australia, Japan, South Korea, France, America and many more!

Due to major expansion plans we are looking for a highly experienced ‘international sales winner’ to assist with mid to long term strategic growth plans throughout the Naval / Defense / Marine / Military markets. This will involve promoting a full ‘complete’ product range to both spending and non-spending clients, ensuring continued brand awareness and increased market share.

This is a senior level sales role within a very busy fast paced manufacturing business. We would expect the candidate to spend at least one / two days a week in my clients manufacturing head office (Midlands), this will ensure you are familiar with all client processes, ongoing projects and have immediate access to all internal stakeholders.

Candidates; the candidate must live within 45 to 90 minutes’ drive from the Midlands and be prepared to spend time at the manufacturing facility OR willing to relocate. This position offers fantastic career progression opportunities and may form a critical part of my client’s succession plan.
