We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our team and lead our new NCT Birth and Beyond Community Supporters project in Birmingham. The project is initially funded until March 2019 and will train mothers to provide peer support to other mothers. This is one of five sites across the country and the successful candidate will be part of a team working to deliver the contract. The role will be home-based with some travel to project sites in Birmingham. The role is 28 hours per week. We are looking for someone with a keen interest in the transition to parenthood and a good understanding of the role of peer supporters coupled with excellent communication and IT skills and time management. You should have experience of the initiation and ongoing management of complex projects across multiple locations, experience of building relationships across organisations to deliver community support and extensive experience of managing volunteers. You should also have experience of undertaking data collection and using this to draft professional reports. You should be comfortable working independently and be able to demonstrate experience of successfully working with diverse cultural groups. Full details can be found in the Job Description.
