Job Title: Key Account Manager

Location: Worcestershire

Salary: circa £40,000 + car + benefits

Contract type: Permanent

My client is a leading tier 1 automotive supplier who work with many of the premium OEM's within the automotive industry. Due to rapid growth within the business, they are now looking for a Key Account Manager for their office located in Worcestershire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales volumes and margins on allocated key accounts
  • Maintain strategic plan for the development of each allocated key account
  • Build and maintain effective relationships within your key accounts
  • Respond to and progress customer enquiries
  • Complete specified internal and Group Monthly reporting including monthly sales forecasts
  • Deliver customer presentations
  • Maintain and manage a list of outstanding commercial issues by customer
  • Maintain enquiry system
  • Maintain organization chart of Purchasing functions in key accounts

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Significant experience working in a sales / business development / account management / commercial role within the automotive supply chain
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Negotiation skills with proven results in sales
  • Structured working methods and a high level of commitment
  • Ability to build relationships and maintain a good rapport with customers
