Our client, the world's leading professional body for qualifications and standards in land, property, infrastructure and construction is looking for 2 Risk and Intelligence Leads to join their existing team

This job is a key position with responsibility for ensuring that our client meets its global obligations to deliver effective risk based self-regulation. You will be responsible for developing and applying a globally consistent classification and scoring mechanism to reports about alleged breaches of their Rules of Conduct. You will prioritise and classify complaints, intelligence and incoming information, with the responsibility of updating all internal databases. It is vital you ensure all information is scrutinised and accurately analysed to ensure investigation casework is moving in line with KPIs and quality assurance measures. You will also have responsibility for analysing and reporting on the data collected through the Professional Assurance function, providing integrated reports and trend analysis for wider dissemination.

Key Achievements & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of a global regulatory intelligence risk management function, this involves developing in depth understanding of their Bye-Laws and Rules of Conduct and enriches the optimisation of the data they collect and collaborate with stakeholders to improve the wider insight and intelligence capability of the organisation
  • Develop mechanisms for analysing, modelling and reporting relevant complaint operational intelligence and compliance data to the organisation. This includes preparing reports for various stakeholders such as senior management team, Policy and Governance team, relevant boards
  • Analyse information and intelligence from a variety of sources, such as allegations of potential breaches (investigation complaints) compliance led reports, internal data and produce high quality reports for a variety of purposes
  • Undertake research and analysis at strategic and operational levels, linking information and operational intelligence to identify patterns and trends and to identify risks and concerns for directorates and teams. This involves developing mechanisms to escalate information to relevant teams
  • Develop risk and operational intelligence reports and briefings for operational use, summarising clearly and accurately key findings, in an evidential format, if necessary. Provide risk and intelligence briefings to senior leadership and prepare and deliver presentations where required
  • Identify and develop internal datasets for data collection
  • Build effective working relationships with external stakeholders to enable the sharing of data
  • Prepare monthly operational risk/intelligence reports for internal/external use
  • Monitor and manage investigation/assurance team in-boxes and be responsible for managing/handling and categorising incoming information in line with operational and regulatory guidance

Experience required:

  • Qualified to degree level or with relevant experience
  • Experience of working as an intelligence risk officer ideally within the regulatory or enforcement environment
  • Proven experience of working with the principles of intelligence and risk models including handling sensitive data
  • Proven experience of the development and production of effective and efficient intelligence and risk research/reporting
  • Substantial experience of complex problem solving and resolution
  • Experience in dealing with risk, compliance and regulatory matters
  • Experience of drafting documents to a high-quality standard.
  • Experience of influencing and constructively challenging internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience of working in an environment where priorities change at short notice
  • Experience of working well under direction and autonomously, and collaborating as part of a functional and cross functional team
