Position Purpose: Ensure parts are shipped to customers on time and in a safe and secure fashion. Pack parts in a suitable manner. Provide advice, troubleshooting, tracking information and assistance to customer sales representatives.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Pack parts in a suitable way to ensure safe delivery to customer.

 Ship orders to customers using courier IT interfaces.

 Send parts with all required documentation.

 Arrange special deliveries.

 Ensure orders are delivered to meet special customer deadlines.

 Drop shipments at local courier depot in company van when required.

 Send customers shipping confirmation emails.

 Liaise with customers regarding special deliveries.

 Close orders once shipped.

 Adhere to all quality and safety standards within the department.

 Continually seek to improve work processes and individual performance.

 Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures.

 Perform additional tasks as assigned.

 Track shipments and request credit from couriers if required.

Skills / Knowledge

Strong sense of urgency

 Ability to multi task and prioritise

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 Accuracy is vital - must be detail oriented

 Must be computer literate

 Able to work independently with minimal supervision

 Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment

 Able to comprehend and follow printed and computer-screen instructions, and direction from shipping lead and managers.

Qualifications / experience:

Experience in logistics/dispatch

 Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

 Clean driving license
