P+S Personnel are pleased to be recruiting a Commercial Support Assistant to join our clients team based in Ross on Wye. The purpose of this role will be to provide proactive administrative and commercial support to the farm sales team.

Commercial Farm Trader Support:
• Provision of commercial support to a selected group of internal Farm Traders
• Accurate provision of prices for commodities using the internal pricing grid
• Input of contracts into CAL system, in a timely manner and ensuring accuracy
• Providing customers with updates of movements
• Escalation of issues where movements may be outside of agreed parameters
• Resolution of customer queries in a timely and professional manner
• In conjunction with Farm Trader, management of customer relations on commercial and non-commercial aspects of contracts
• Support on organisation of re-direction following rejections
• Resolution of issues with assurance numbers/passports
• Ensuring consistent point of contact and customer service representative for customers from purchase to delivery
• Attendance at Regional Sales Meetings, Technical Meetings & Farmer Events
• Assistance with organisation of local meetings and events
• Accurate and timely communication with Farm Traders
• Monthly checking of contracted movements and chasing up of outstanding issues
• Making contract amendments and adding quality premiums where required
• Other support as required by Farm Traders, including contacting customers and sending information

General Administration:
• Arrangement of meetings and presentations to customers, farmer groups and internal employees including booking of rooms and refreshments
• Creating and posting of communication to external customers
• Provision of reports to internal Farm Traders as required (using CAL & FBI )
• Administration support, including answering of phones and dealing with visitors
• Assisting, where relevant, with external meetings and plant tours
• Support in management of grain samplers and grain sample co-ordinator at harvest

Position Requirements:
• Demonstrated customer service skills to ensure resolution of issues
• The ability to communicate with impact at every level
• A strong, confident telephone manner
• Demonstrated problem solving ability
• A proven attention to detail
• Proven IT skills, including Microsoft Office with an ability to create, maintain and extract data from spread sheets. Ability to import and export excel data into other programmes.
• Excellent organisational skills, including prioritising workloads, meeting deadlines and managing a varied workload in a busy environment
• The ability to work on own initiative, making decisions, managing own workload and time, whilst developing effective and supportive relationships with colleagues
• Previous administration experience
• Focused on using skills, training and experience to the benefit of the customer
