UK IT Business Support Manager
Job Ref: DJPF1143 Role: UK IT Business Support Manager Location: Warwick Salary: Up to £70,000 + Car + benefits This is an exciting opportunity for someone to develop and maintain strategies that support the organisation in their strategy and ambition. You will develop a strong link with the business at the strategic level to understand the overall UK Strategy and how IT can help in the delivery. You will also lead and develop an appropriately qualified, skilled and customer-focused team of Business Analysts to deliver this. Key Tasks: • Understand the business strategy. • Work with the UK IT Manager to develop IT strategies • Manage the delivery of this strategic plan through a combination of IT projects and other initiatives • Develop a team of Business Analysts with the skills and knowledge to support the business both in its strategy and the operation of its daily activities. • Maintain a project portfolio, recognising the status of current IT projects and identifying a project pipeline to ensure resources are aligned to the business project requirements • Reasonable legislative and best practice requirements. • Work with other members of the Senior IT team to ensure systems are delivered in line with strategic and operational requirements. Knowledge, skills and experience required: • Degree level calibre, ideally in a computing-related subject. • Experience of operating at a senior strategic level in an IT or business function, with demonstrable leadership skills. • Extensive experience of understanding business strategy and turning that in to IT deliverables. • Clear understanding of delivering excellent customer service in an IT environment • Extensive experience of resource management of a multi-skilled team aligned to business strategy To apply for this position please forward a copy of your CV to us.
