Area Sales Manager – HVAC / Heating & Ventilation Job Title: Area Sales Manager – HVAC / Heating & Ventilation Industry Sector: HVAC, Heating and Ventilation, Climate Control Systems, Fan Coil Units, Air Curtains, Air Heaters, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Unit Heaters, Industrial Heating, Heating Panels, Fan Convectors Area to be covered: West Midlands, South West & South Wales (ideally based Birmingham) (OR) London & Southern half of the South East Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 (Depending on experience) + circa £13,000 Bonus Benefits: Company Car and comprehensive benefits package The role of the Area Sales Manager – HVAC / Heating & Ventilation will involve: · Selling a high quality range of manufactured climate control products including: fan coil units, fan convectors, heat recovery units and air curtains · 40% of your time will be spent generating specifications with M&E consultants · 30% of your time will be spent generating business directly with M&E contractors · Remaining 30% of your time will be spent selling to local authorities and end users · Converting projects from within retail, industry and public sector markets such as: schools, offices, hotels and retail · Dealing with project values ranging from around £1k- £400k with average orders of around £10-20k · Regular upkeep and organisation of your CRM system · 50:50 split of time spent managing and expanding existing relationships to generating new business relationships The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – HVAC / Heating & Ventilation with: · Must have a proven track record of field based sales within the construction industry · Must have HVAC product experience such as: fan coils, air curtains, air heaters, air conditioning, unit heaters, ventilation, cooling systems or related products · Must have experience of the specification sales process selling to M&E consultants and contractors · Must have contacts within the industry · Technical / solution based approach to sales generation but also able to successfully close sales · Capable of generating new business relationships pro-actively · Track record of stability within your career · Genuine desire, hunger and enthusiasm to be successful The Company: · Nationwide presence · Growth plans · Family run well established business Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Field Sales Jobs, Construction field sales vacancies and Specification field sales positions within: HVAC, Climate Control Systems, Fan Coil Units, Air Curtains, Air Heaters, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Unit Heaters, Industrial Heating, Heating Panels, Fan Convectors
