The Aftermarket Account Manager position is a senior role within the organisation, you will be successful through driving and achieving sales of all aftermarket parts and service products and taking ownership of major clients.

Is a thriving and successful family business based in Birmingham, offers a range of engine cooling, heating, air conditioning systems and fluid reservoirs. We are the market leader in engine cooling and HVAC solutions for the bus and coach market, supplying product globally. From a simple radiator design through to a complete cooling module or Battery Thermal Management systems, they can provide the complete 3D design, prototype test and production supply.

Personal Specification

  • An experienced sales Account manager who understands the fundamentals of business
  • Financially and commercially astute with sound knowledge of sales management
  • Creative and dynamic, yet with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator capable of establishing solid, professional relationships
  • Strong team player who recognises the importance of all functions in the business
  • Innovative thinker, able to generate new ideas and translate into tangible results
  • Minimum three years’ experience working at a senior level in sales
  • A charismatic leader, who can involve, inspire, motivate, lead and coach others
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, pro-active and able to prioritise your workload
  • Understands the background culture in the aftermarket and bus garages
  • Understands basic engineering principles

Key accountabilities

  • Accountable for achieving budgeted sales in service and aftermarket, within agreed business objectives and plan
  • Providing clear focus and leadership to the internal aftermarket sales and service teams, driving sales, profit, quality
  • As a key member of the senior management team, to strive to achieve the future success and growth of the business
  • To have a detailed understanding of company products, operational processes and the corporate environment in which the business operates
  • To be viewed by key customers and other senior managers as a highly capable, flexible, credible manager
  • To be perceived in the market place as representing a company offering products that can be relied upon to deliver service, quality, technical safety and innovation
  • To seek out opportunities and solutions to improve sales and profitability

Working hours: 0800-1700 Mon-Thu / 1500 Fri / some flexibility will be required
