Residential Support Worker

Due to ongoing success at Skyline Children’s Care we are now recruiting for Residential Support Workers for our care home that specialise in caring for Young Adults of mixed gender, aged between 8-18 and who have severe and complex Learning Disabilities which include with ASD, ADHD and other forms of disabilities such as Downs Syndrome or Global Developmental Delay.

Skyline Children’s Care utilizes a wide range of supportive approaches and techniques to enable the service user’s to learn and develop.

We are currently recruiting for Residential Support workers who are passionate and dedicated about making a difference in people’s lives and who will ensure that the welfare and happiness of the service user’s is made paramount at all times.


  • All applicants must be over the age of 21.
  • A minimum of a NVQ Level 3 qualification in Child Care, or equivalent, is required.
  • They must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of working with Children with learning disabilities.
  • A full UK driving license.
The successful candidate will be working directly with service users and will be required to work 3 days on 3 days off shift pattern. This will be on a rolling rota system which will require the applicant to work weekends and bank holidays.

The post will also involve administrative work and record keeping associated with the running of a Ofsted Registered Care Home, as well as undertaking and assisting the service user’s in their day to day personal care activities and independence skills.

All job roles within the company will be subject to a satisfactory DBS being received along with satisfactory references from your previous employer.
