Due to their continued rapid growth and success here in the UK; they now have an exciting opportunity for Learning & Development Project lead based at their Head Office in West Midlands on a fixed term contract until December 2018

As a key interim role for the business the L&D Design & Delivery Trainer will support Design and Delivery of a bespoke project. The L&D Trainer will support the project lead to provide unique skills and strategy and training options for a bespoke training project following the acquisition of a new business and also the integration/implementation of a brand new web based systems to be used front and back of house and remotely.

Must have Knowledge in Planning, writing, delivering and evaluating Training sessions
  • Be able to analyse and understand data and information quickly
  • Organisational and planning skills to effectively manage time and to meet deadlines and object
  • A full awareness of adult learning styles and appropriate learning language for adults
  • Ability to develop and write material that is adult appropriate in terms of ground rules & icebreakers
  • Develop and write Training content and develop learning resources using a template to explain / including
  • Trainer Notes, Presentations, Quick reference guides, Step by step guides for upload to learning hub if necessary, Participant guides if necessary
  • Ensure the key organisational messages are delivered within the learning environment
  • Ability to write and develop material that allows for :
  • Gaining and maintaining attention
  • Facilitating and managing learning
  • Develop material for end of course assessment and evaluation of training ( process), learning & development
  • Presentation knowledge as a trainer / L&D professional
Skills required:

You will need to have:
  • Expert level skill in Microsoft Office software Powerpoint, Word and Excel
  • Intermediate / Expert level in Captivate
  • High quality written and spoken communication skills
  • Good time-keeping skills to enable you to effectively manage training schedules
  • Able to write learning material that is not “talk and chalk” but gives the trainer enough background note from which to work and to ensure compliance of product and delivery
  • Initiative and the ability to offer new ideas
  • Problem-solving and negotiation skills
Presentation Skills as a trainer / L&D professional
  • A can do attitude
  • Willingness to work with what is known whilst the “unknown” is developing
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • To be able to construct, test and change material as necessary
  • L&D Design & Delivery experience in Training, HR, Learning & Development and IT
  • Minimum least 3- 5 years L&D experience and proven work related ability.
  • Highly effective communicator coupled with experience of managing stakeholders and employee relationships
  • Possess strong communication, numerical and interpersonal skills to confidently produce training material and design and implement strategic working operations
